Report on informal settlements

The report  Roma, Romania and the geography, broadcast on October 2018, on Antena 1, during the show  În premieră, it captures many of the painful aspects of the phenomenon of informal settlements and strengthens our conviction that urgent solutions are needed. The documentary focuses on the Roma settlements, although according to the existing studies, the phenomenon of informal settlements does not affect exclusively the Roma, but also Romanians and other ethnicities in Romania. The report illustrates a number of species of informal housing, from dramatic situations to examples of good practice in how local administrations approach this issue.
